Hi! On Friday, I went to Waterstones and chose some new books! I haven't read them all yet but I have read one which is The Boss of Everyone! Here's what I chose.
Lily Alone by Jacqueline Wilson - Obviously I had to choose a Jacqueline Wilson book because she is my favourite author. I always go to the 'W' section first to see if there are any new books that she has written.
The Lost Whale by Hannah Gold - I have already read and reviewed The Last Bear which is by the same author so I thought I should read another one of her books. There is also a sequel to The Last Bear coming out soon, called Finding Bear.
The Boss of Everyone! by Danny Wallace - I have read one of Danny Wallace's books before called The Day the Screens Went Blank! and it was really funny so I decided to read another one of his books. He has also written one called The Luckiest Kid in the World which I would like to get soon.
The Mapmakers by Tamzin Merchant - This is the sequel to The Hatmakers which I read and enjoyed. It's about people who make different things like The Cloakmakers make magical cloaks, the Hatmakers make magical hats, the Watchmakers make magical watches and all of the different people are rivals. It's a fun, magical adventure.
