More new books!

Hi! I got more books! I haven't written a post for a while but I have still been busy reading. Last weekend, I had to put up two new shelves in my bedroom to fit all my books on!

Here is a list of new books I've got. I will review one of them soon. Maybe you'd like to read one of these books?

1. Wave me Goodbye by Jacqueline Wilson - My friend has got this and I've always wanted to read it. I thought it looked like an interesting book. It is about an evacuee in the second world war.

2. The Butterfly Club by Jacqueline Wilson - This was recommended to me in a bookshop before because I love Jacqueline Wilson's books. This is a book about a triplet who really likes butterflies and creates a butterfly garden at school with the class bully, Selma. Can they become friends?

3. Journey to the River Sea by Eva Ibbotson - At school this is our focus book for English and I wanted my own copy so I can read it at home. It's about a girl who goes to live in the Amazon with some relatives, they are keeping her from the outside world. Can she find a way to escape? There is a sequel to the book coming out soon.

4. Lizzie and Belle Drama and Danger by J.T. Williams - My Granny bought me this because she knew I liked mysteries. It is the first in the series. Some of the characters in it are real people from Georgian times. Somebody is after Lizzie Sancho's father, the famous actor! Can Lizzie and her best friend Belle solve the mystery of who is trying to kill Mr Sancho?

5. Lizzie and Belle Portraits and Poison by J.T. Williams - The first book made me feel like I was on the streets of Georgian London watching the events take place, so I definitely wanted to read the next book! This second book is about a missing painting of Lizzie and Belle's families and Belle's uncle seems to have been poisoned! Will they be able to solve the mystery and save Belle's uncle?

I hope you would like to read one of these books. I can't wait to write my next post! Bye for now!
