Interviews with my friends

Hi! This week I spoke to my friends and asked them some questions about their favourite books and their favourite authors. Maybe you will find that they have the same favourite authors as you! These are their answers...

I wanted to interview a boy and a girl, so I selected two of my friends. First, I interviewed Alex aged 10.

Q1. Who is your favourite author? Why?

My favourite author is J.K. Rowling because she wrote Harry Potter and it was an amazing idea.

Q2. What is your favourite comic book?

My favourite comic book is The Phoenix because it is made by lots of authors from around London working together to make stories with action, mystery, laughter and suspense.

Q3. What is your favourite style of books?

I like all types of books and I can't choose just one type of book to be my favourite.

Q4. What advice would you give to your favourite author?

I wouldn't give any advice to J.K. Rowling because her stories are already brilliant.

Q5. Which book would you like to read that you haven't already read?

I would like to read The Heroes of Olympus House of Hades by Rick Riordan.

My second interview was my friend Anna, also aged 10.

Q1. Who is your favourite author? Why?

My favourite author is Jacqueline Wilson because she writes books about real life situations. They are funny and 'kid-friendly'.

Q2. What is your favourite comic book?

My favourite comic book is the 'Day in the life of...' series because they are educational and funny at the same time.

Q3. What is your favourite style of books?

I like comics because they are funny and colourful and sometimes (when you don't expect it) they lead to danger!

Q4. What advice would you give to your favourite author?

I would tell Jacqueline Wilson that I love her books so keep on writing!

Q5. Which book would you like to read that you haven't already read?

I would like to read My Mum Tracy Beaker by Jacqueline Wilson.
